Images 2010, the juried gallery exhibition of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, is open to artists working in the traditional fine art categories of drawings, painting, mixed media, photography, printmaking, watercolor, and sculpture, in addition to fine craft categories of ceramic, fiber and paper. Exhibiting artists must have their primary residence in Pennsylvania, one of the adjacent states, Virginia or the District of Columbia.
The works in Images 2010, our mid-Atlantic regional fine art and fine craft exhibition, were selected by Dan Mills an artist and the Director of the Samek Art Gallery at Bucknell University in Lewisburg. As the director of Samek Art Gallery, Mills organizes its nationally recognized exhibitions program that 'brings the world to Bucknell.' He also oversees the gallery’s permanent collection, organizes programming for the university and regional community.
All are welcome at the exhibition's opening reception, Friday, June 11, at 5:30 p.m. There is convenient parking in HUB Parking Garage next to the building.

The Festival’s Italian Street Painting Festival revives the centuries old art of “painting” on the street using special pastels.
